The Waikiki BeachBoys were members of the Hawaii Winter Baseball league, a developmental circuit that played on and off from 1993 to 2008. Their name was derived from a group credited with popularizing the sport of surfing in Hawaii. Partially funded by MLB, the league featured players from Japan, Korea, and North America.
