Tusko, build as "The World's Meanest Elephant," arrived in the U.S. from Thialand in 1898. After touring the country, his keepr George "Slim" Lewis, tried to get him into a circus but none wanted him. Tusko lived out his final years at the Seattle Zoo where he passed away in 1933.
