Turtles Records & Tapes was a chain of music stores based in Atlanta. Founded in 1977, it had over 125 stores throughout the South at its peak, mostly in Georgia and Florida. In the early '90s the chain was acquired by Blockbuster Music, which in turn was sold to Wherehouse Music, who were then bought by Trans World Entertainment in 2003.
The printing was off center, and the shirt was… crunchy? That’s the best way I can describe it. Ordered as a gift, but won’t be giving it because I would be embarrassed of the quality. I’m really confused because I’ve ordered before and this was not my experience! It was never GREAT, but it wasn’t bad like this.
