SkyDome opened in 1989 as the new home of Toronto's baseball and football teams. The city's basketball team played there from 1995 to 1999 while a new arena was being built downtown. The football team got the boot in 2015, leaving the baseball team as the facility's sole tenant. It's often called the Death Star.
