From 1971 to 1982, Swingos, at the corner of Euclid Avenue and east 18th Street in downtown Cleveland, was the place where rock & roll royalty stayed and partied--- hard. Everyone from Elvis and Led Zeppelin to Cher and Kiss stayed there. Even Frank Sinatra checked in at the legendary hotel, which also made a cameo appearance in Cameron Crowe's film Almost Famous.
