Size Guide

While it was known for most of its existence as the St. Louis Arena, from 1977 to 1983 it was known as the Checkerdome. Opened in 1929 it closed in 1999, replaced by the Kiel Center (now the Scottrade Center). Over the years it was home to several hockey (Braves and Eagles), basketball (the Spirits of St. Louis), and soccer teams, as well as the site of dozens of concerts.
