The Phoenix Hill Tavern opened in 1976 and quickly became one of the most popular and successful nightclubs in the city, along with sibling property Jim Porter's Good Time Emporium. The Tavern hosted a variety of nationally touring musical acts from Meat Loaf to Miley Cyrus.
