The Memphis Tams, formerly the Memphis Pros from 1970 to 1972, played in the American Basketball Association from 1972 to 1975, changing their name to the Sounds for their final campaign. In 1975, the team moved to Baltimore to become the Claws but folded before their first tip-off. Though their logo was a tam o'shanter-style hat, the name was an acronym for Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi. • 47% cotton, 28% nylon, 25% polyester• Structured, five-panel, high profile• Flat bill• Snapback closure• Head circumference: 21⅝″–23⅝″ (53.3 cm–60 cm)
