The characters Lenny and Squiggy, from the hit 70's-era sit-com "Laverne & Shirley," formed a band during the course of that TV series. In 1979, the actors who portrayed them, Michael McKean and David Lander, released an album as the duo. McKean would go on to be Spinal Tap's guitarist David St. Hubbins.
