The Las Vegas Sting played in the Arena Football league in 1994 and 1995. At first, their home field was the MGM Grand Arena. In 1995, they moved to UNLV's Thomas & Mack Center. In 1996, they packed their bags and headed to Orange County, California to become the Anaheim Piranhas.
