The Las Vegas Locomotives, or Locos for short, were charter members of the United Football League (UFL) and began play in 2009. They won the 2009 and 2010 championship games and also appeared in the 2011 contest. The team folded, along with the rest of the UFL, in 2012. The Locos played their home games at Sam Boyd Stadium.
