Elect Dennis J. Kucinich Mayor

Long before serving in Congress from 1997 to 2013, Dennis Kucinich was mayor of Cleveland from January 1978 to November 1979. His brief but controversial tenure included a battle with one of the area's major utilities as well as the city declaring bankruptcy. He was later credited for acting admirably in both cases, ultimately saving the city millions of dollars.
