One of the most famous ballparks in sports history, Ebbets?? Field was best-known as the home of baseball's Brooklyn Dodgers from 1913 to 1957. It was also the home field for five pro football teams: the Brooklyn Brickley Giants, Brooklyn Lions, Brooklyn Dodgers (later Tigers) of the National Football League, as well as the Brooklyn Tigers (of the second American Football League), and the Brooklyn Dodgers of the All-America Football Conference. Three years after the baseball Dodgers left, the stadium was torn down and replaced with an apartment building.
