On May 12, 1992, WPHR, 107.9, flipped its format from CHR/top-40 to modern rock. It also changed call letters to WENZ, and branded itself "The End." The end of "The End" wasn't far off though, and within a few years new ownership changed the format again. On its last day as "The End," the station played R.E.M.'s "It's the End of the World as We Know It (and I Feel Fine)," on a 24-hour loop.
Great shirt. Reminds me of the good old days of 90’s radio. I wasn’t old enough to enjoy 70’s radio but I was old enough to remember and enjoy this station. I also love all the other shirt designs as well. Thank you.
Love my old school Anaheim Amigos tee-shirts…got one for me, one for my employer, and one for my best-friend’s 8 year old Anaheim youth basketball playing son 🏀🏀🏀

I ordered this for a gift for my basketball loving husband. He was so surprised and loved having a mug with the old ABA logo!
