The Indianapolis Ice played in the IHL from 1988 to 1999 before joining the CHL in 1999. In 2004, the team moved to Topeaka, KS. The Ice were established after the Indianapolis Checkers, also of the IHL, moved to Denver following the 1988 season. There is also an alternate logo for the Ice.
