The Baltimore Comets played for two seasons in the old North American Soccer League (NASL) starting in 1974. Their home field was Memorial Stadium. In 1976, they moved west to become the San Diego Jaws. In 1977, they became the Las Vegas Quicksilvers before moving back to San Diego where they became the Sockers, one of the most storied teams in the history of American soccer.
